Water and sanitation on the MDG review meeting in New York

On the 23rd of September there will be a review of the Millennium Development Goals in New York in which the Dutch demissionair Minister President Balkenende will attend.

On behalf of Aqua 4 All and the 300in6 initiative, Sjef Ernes en Henk Holtslag wrote a letter to Mr. Balkenende asking for special attention for water and sanitation since these are basic conditions to reach almost all other MDGs. The letter states that more than ten years ago water and sanitation for all is within reach with lessons learned and new, sustainable and affordable solutions.
