New communication manager

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Osborn as the Communications Manager of 300in6. This reflects the ongoing upgrade of our communications outreach, which is core to the upscaling of safe water household solutions.

For the next two months, Paul will consult with our key partners and prepare our future communications strategy and plan, with the mandate to align these very closely with the Household Water Treatment and Storage network (HWTS).

    New Household Water Treatment (HWT) and safe storage solutions make safe drinking water affordable, even for the poorest. In business-as-usual scenarios the number of people using new HWTs will increase from 40 million in 2009, to 150 million in 2015. We now aim at 300 million people in the same six years. Our inclusive approach is based on sustainable enterprise and enabled by smart regulation and procurement policies in public, private and civil society sectors.
